Ata Buttons — operating since 1999 and previously known as Ata İmalat, Ata İthalat, and Ata Tekstil Aksesuarları İthalat İhracat ve Pazarlama Limited Şirketi — is a family-owned Turkish manufacturer specialising in metal textile accessories. Legal trading name: Ata İthalat İhracat San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. The company has been recognised in the Turkish garment industry under all of these names; we consolidated under the international brand Ata Buttons for global markets while retaining the same factory, leadership, and quality standards in Merter.
Since 1999 the company has produced snap buttons, press studs, jean buttons, rivets, eyelets and related hardware in its own facility in Merter — Istanbul's historic garment district. Long-time clients also know us through earlier signage as Ata Aksesuar Merter or simply Ata Merter.
As a direct factory, Ata Buttons controls the full production process in-house: brass stamping, zamak die casting, electroplating, custom logo engraving and quality control. This direct-manufacturer model means there is no middleman between the factory and the garment producer — delivering consistent quality, competitive pricing, and fast lead times.

Merter is one of Istanbul's principal textile and garment manufacturing districts, enabling fast turnaround with local garment producers and efficient export logistics through Istanbul's ports and airports.
